MARKUS QUINTERO
Lead Pastor
Pastor Markus is originally from Miami, FL. He met his wife Nicole at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA. After graduation in 2012, they married and moved to the Okanagan, where they have been serving at Calvary Chapel Kelowna ever since.
His greatest passions in ministry are teaching the Bible verse by verse and equipping others to use the gifts that God has given them. His favourite Bible teachers are Pastors Joe Focht & Damian Kyle.
Markus loves being a dad to his two children, Isabel & Josiah. He also enjoys watching football, wakesurfing, and going to the movie theatre.
The Quintero family is very excited for this new venture in faith in planting Lakeside Calvary Chapel.

A Church Planting a Church
Lakeside Calvary Chapel has a "mother" church- Calvary Chapel Kelowna. In the early life of Lakeside, the church will be led by Pastor Markus with the accountability and support of the elders at Calvary Chapel Kelowna. This will continue until elders are observed and appointed at Lakeside and the church becomes autonomous.
